Waiting on our house, taxes, and kids

yes, I am very bad at blogging! I am determined to be better at it especially because i have been getting so much enjoyment out of reading other peoples blogs lately.
I found some really fun recipe and decorating blogs that i just can't stay off of! I have been dreaming up ways to decorate the house we put an offer on last week that we are now waiting on the bank to accept.(yes, it is a short sale. and yes, we are crazy because it could take months to find out!)

So here we are, homeless and staying with our super good friends Jeff and Lindsey. They are life savers!! it is a bit crowded and i can't wait to not be living out of a suitcase like we have been for the last three months.

And of course it's the middle of tax season and so we don't see DJ very much, so that makes things kind of hard. but he does try and get off work early at least once a week to spend time with us. yesterday we went to The trampoline place in Rancho Cordova and had a blast! (one of these days DJ and I want to go there one night for a date and play dodge ball.) I am super grateful for the job he has and for his hard work to provide for us so that I can stay home with our beautiful children.

Logan and Dean are the cutest things there ever were on the face of the earth and are doing pretty well considering we have no routine. Logan is a huge help and is so very smart and funny. Dean is growing so fast! he is already four and a half months old and loves his big brother. I wish i could make him laugh at me as hard as he does at Logan. It is SO cute!

so that is our life right now. Waiting on our house, taxes, and kids!

Baby Dean came at 6:33 pm. 6.1 lb, 18 in long. so tiny, but perfect!!!! everything went realy well, we had a bit of a problem with the epidural at first, but other than that, it was great!

At the hospital being induced! The due Date was 10/10/10, but apparently he didn't want to have a cool birthday like that.
we got here about nine and they broke my water at ten. and we are just hanging out waiting....

So I spoke to soon. I'm not pregnant anymore. we were going to wait to tell anyone about the pregnancy and we should have. oh well, that's how life goes sometimes.

other than that things are going great. we have had a lot of people look at our house, no offers yet, but that's ok.

Ive been doing lots of gardening and canning this year which is a lot of work but a lot of fun at the same time. I'll be sad to leave my garden, we finally got it how we like it!

OK!OK!OK! I'm updating already!

I guess there is a lot of stuff to catch up on.

I'm pregnant. FINALLY! I'm about 7 weeks along, just found out a few weeks ago. I'm feeling fine, I keep waking up waiting to be sick, but it has not come yet. thank goodness!

our house is for sale and we have a huge 7 foot sign on our front lawn. we are hoping to be in Cali sometime in December to get settled before tax season starts. we have been looking at places in Wilton. it will be weird but fun living there again. I just want to get some land! I was kind of sad when we put our house up for sale, but now I'm sick of having to keep our house clean so I'm super anxious to get it sold!

My little brother!

Today is the day that my little brother is going into the MTC. and from there he will be going to the Dominican Republic. I am sad that I was not able to go with my family to see him off as I had to return to Caifornia yesterday. I am so gratefull for my brother and the example that he is setting for my little boy. I will miss him so much, he brings so much joy to our family with his humer and his awesome spirit. I know that the poeple of the Dominican Republic will fall in love with him and the joy he brings to all that is around him. good luck david and we love you!

I was able to come home for a little over a week from california. it's really nice to have a break from taxes and just be home for a while. we had so much fun playing in the snow on saturday.
