The true meaning of christmas

As I was talking to Christin on the phone tonight, I realized how much this season means to me.
despite all the craziness that is going on around me and all the worries of money, health, family, friends, church and work, I still have this season to bring me a sense of peace. I thank my Heavenly Father for the Gospel in my life, for the support of my family.
Being a mother also brings a whole new meaning to the birth of Christ and I am so grateful for that small glimpse of that eternal perspective. I hope everyone has a meaningful Christmas!

trouble makers

so we went over to mom's the day after thanksgiving and Josh and Logan had a blast getting into trouble.

DJ's birthday present to himself

So DJ decided to get himself an early birthday present. A really big one.

the other night he came home from Wal-Mart with a 50" plasma.the thing is huge!! it takes up the whole room! I told him now we have to get smaller speakers and a different stand.

BOWLING!

So yesterday was memorial day and we wanted to go to the zoo, but it was RAINING so we decided to go to the tree house museum. BUT by the time the boys woke up from their naps and we got all ready, it was after 4PM and they close @ 4. SOOOO, we decided to go bowling ( there aren't many things you can do with toddlers when it's raining).
So we had a great time, Josh beat Logan 72-81. DJ was very disappointed!

First Artherton blog

hi, we are a small part of the very large, loud and crazy Artherton family. Our family consists of DJ (dad) Liesl (mom) and Logan (baby). We live in utah...I mean California....I mean...utah....oh, man! I don't know where we live anymore! we actually have a house in Utah and a business in California, so we are back and forth all the time. we are in the process of creating our blog, we will be posting pics soon so keep checking back!
